My Simple Woman's Daybook Entry: 4/17/2012

I am wondering...if today is the day I'll feel motivated enough to tackle re-organizing my craft room. I found a great idea online for re-arranging the furniture and now just need to DO IT! I found my inspiration at Megan Elizabeth's FB (Above Rubies Studio) page. I'm going to move my desk away from the wall like she did to maximize my work space.

Outside my's a slightly breezy Spring morning. Chilly weather moved in overnight; it's 59 degrees.

I am thinking...about what I'm going to fix for supper. Time to lay something out to thaw.

I am thankful Heavenly Father's provision in all circumstances.

From the kitchen...Emily made some yummy blueberry muffins last night. She is becoming quite the baker!

I am creating...gotta finish a friend's birthday gift today. It's just about done but I need to pick up a specific color ribbon to finish it off.

I am a friend's house on Wednesday to let Emily go horseback riding. She's a tad excited!

I am praying...for wisdom for hubby and I to know what to do as far as his job. He lost his job last week and he is really wanting to go into business for himself. This requires me to step WAY out of my comfort zone; if I could just be sure that it is the Heavenly Father's will for our lives I could go into it with peace.

I am hearing...the sounds of Leave it to Beaver on the TV. We are streaming it over Neflix. What a great oldie goldie!

Word from Scripture..."who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."2 Corinthians 1:4

  1. I found your blog from Above Rubies Studio. Here is my blog in case you would like to follow back:

  2. Thanks Deanne. I'm going to try to actually start posting more regularly; I so love to read other blogs. Hoping to join the blogging community and looking forward to making new friends!
Love your blog! I'm now a follower!

  3. Hi there. I just read that your husband lost his job last week. Just wanted to encourage you that although you may have been surprised by this, God was not. I will pray that His will for your lives will be made clear to you. Know that He holds you in the palm of His hand and He promises that His plan for your life is good and full of hope (Jer. 29:11) ... His promises never fail.

I have clicked to follow your blog and look forward to hearing how God has answered our prayers. I'm a new blogger and I would really appreciate it if you checked out my blog and follow me, too!

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I read each and every one of them!
